About our Business Practices

Good question! After COVID, the average salary a full-time marketing specialist jumped to $60,000 plus benefits (good luck finding a reliable one under that price). Also, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy all year, so you’re stuck paying for hours with no work.

With Appdore, you don’t need to sign a long-term contract with us. Our services are available month-to-month. With no additional fees, you can fire us if you are not happy with our results. On the other hand, if our relationship becomes disrespectful or abusive, we may also decide to end it.

Appdore commits to allocating 4-5 hours monthly for managing, optimizing, and reporting on your account. While our hourly rate is $125, our seasoned expertise ensures efficient operations, minimizing unnecessary time expenditure.

Nope. No outsourcing here. We’re keeping this operation in Texas!

Besides landscaping and lawn care, we have experience with auto dealerships, auto maintenance/repair, oil and gas, healthcare, and home services. We’re a team of experienced professionals. Interestingly, Tez and Mat met at an automotive advertising agency back in 2017. So overall, if your business relies on generating leads and inbound inquiries, we probably can help.

We specialize in partnering with businesses seeking sustainable, consistent growth. We have encountered situations when clients request to pause their advertising campaigns due to an overwhelming influx of work. We are dedicated to helping businesses grow.

We have some e-commerce experience, but it’s not our primary focus. Due to its complexity, we only accept 1-2 e-commerce clients at a time.

We primarily work with small businesses. It depends on your expectations, but our clients generally generate $250K – $3M in gross revenue.

It is not typical for us to take on more than one client providing the same kind of service.

It works on a first-come, first-served basis. You lock down your service area if you choose to work with us. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to work together if you are interested in working with us but we already have a client in your service area that offers competing services.

We can make exceptions for businesses with more than two locations, or “friendly competitors” – if both parties are on board, we will as well.

Upon reaching out to us, we’ll schedule a call with you to learn more about your business. We’ll then send you an agreement outlining the work, payment, and expectations as if we’re a good match. Upon signing the agreement, we’ll send an invoice and begin working after payment.

Next, we will send an onboarding document that details the information and resources we need to deliver a satisfactory product. This document will maximize your marketing results. We may request another call for more information if the onboarding document is insufficient.

In the process of setting up your website and analytics strategy, expect radio silence for several days.

When we’re done, depending on how your services are structured, we’ll either email over screenshots or schedule a screen-share to review and get your feedback. After any revisions, we’ll issue a second invoice for the completion of your website and/or analytics strategy setup. We’ll send everything live, and then begin monthly marketing.

Generally, the onboarding process takes about 6 weeks, but it may take longer if we encounter unexpected roadblocks.

We accept cards, checks, and ACH through our payment processing partner, Stripe.
Email is our primary form of communication. Phone calls are scheduled in advance so that we have time to thoroughly review your topic.

You can downgrade to a website maintenance-only plan if you want to cancel marketing services. If you want to cancel services entirely, we can send your website files to whoever you decide to work with. As soon as you cancel services with us, you or your next service provider will become fully responsible for website maintenance, such as troubleshooting if your website goes down, performing regular backups, and monitoring for security hacks.

Your website files, Google services including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and any other directly-claimed local citation profiles that we help set up for you are yours to keep. Our low-price marketing strategy works because we aggregate advertising data across accounts, so any advertising accounts (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) will remain ours. For the duration of your marketing services with us, we give you limited access to your advertising accounts, but we keep this data if or when you leave.

Please notify us via email. We will finish out the month in which we receive your cancellation email.

About Our Websites
We build five-page websites in our style that will convert and drive more leads.

No.  If you want a 100% custom website, we have a few great referrals for you.

It depends. We’ll have to review your website, as there needs to be a good, fast-loading landing page with a call to action. If one doesn’t exist, we’ll likely recommend starting fresh.
Yes, please. It helps because people love to see real, local photos. However, if you do not have any, we have some high-quality stock photos available.
No, but if have some content ready that will speed up the process. During the onboarding process, we gather all of the information we need to write your website content for you.
You can log in to the website and make your edits, or you can contact us and we’ll make them for you. If you still have a plan with us, please let us know before making any changes as it may affect the performance of your account.

You do. Other agencies will buy your domain for you to make your life easier, then hold it hostage when you try to leave. It’s a little inconvenient, but we will NOT buy your domain for you. If you don’t have a domain already, we recommend buying your domain through GoDaddy or Namecheap. This way, you own it 100% and can permit us to use it to make your website.

About Our Marketing Plan
We only care about getting you more customers. Nothing else matters.

Yes, you do. We aren’t doing custom plans right now. Another agency will have to help you if you must have custom plans. We work really hard to design marketing services that are mutually profitable. If we always offered custom plans, this would be very hard to do.

If the updates are clearly visible to people / users, we will ask for your approval before submitting them. We also notate all of our SEO optimizations, so we can keep track of what’s working. This information is always available to you.

We use Google Analytics to track your website’s performance. All clients will receive a report every month showing how many phone calls, emails, and contact form submissions they receive. We also offer optional monthly phone calls to discuss and review performance.
We’ve had traffic quality concerns with this platform in the past.  For now, we’ve decided to prioritize Google Ads. If you must use Microsoft Advertising, we can recommend an agency that can help with that.
It varies because Google has been optimizing their search engine. Also, seasonality can have a major impact on the timing of results. Paid search advertising can start within the same week we turn them on. SEO is slow and can takes 4 – 6 months to start seeing results. Noticeable improvements are seen year-over-year rather than month-over-month.

Ranking on the first page of search results only matters if people click, convert, and become customers for your business. Therefore, we do not fixate on rank. It is only important to pay attention to ranking to the extent that it has an impact on more important factors, such as website traffic, conversion rate, and lead generation.

Yes, but not as a stand-alone service.
