The Story
Appdore started in 2014 as Appdore Games, a mobile game development studio born out of pure passion for creating interactive experiences. For five years, we built games that entertained thousands of players and taught us invaluable lessons about design, user experience, and what it takes to build something people love.
By 2019, the landscape had shifted. Mobile gaming had become increasingly competitive, and we realized our skills and passion could create impact in new ways. Rather than abandon the spirit of Appdore, we evolved it.
Today, Appdore is a creative studio that operates at the intersection of marketing, music, and technology. We've kept the same experimental mindset that drove us to build games, but now we're applying it to helping businesses succeed, creating independent music, and building practical AI tools.

The vision: Music that values feeling over formula. Each persona tells its own story while sharing a commitment to emotional clarity and purposeful creativity. All songs are written, produced, and performed by Cartez Augustus.
AI Tools
We build practical AI-powered tools that solve real problems. Postida helps create engaging social media content instantly, while HDSHTS transforms casual photos into professional headshots using artificial intelligence.

Meet Cartez Augustus
Cartez Augustus is the founder and creative force behind everything Appdore does. Based in Katy, Texas, Cartez brings together a unique blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and entrepreneurial drive.
The Journey:
Cartez's career has been defined by curiosity and the willingness to learn new skills. Starting as a mobile game developer in 2014, he taught himself programming, design, marketing, and business management out of necessity—when you're a solo founder, you wear every hat.
After building multiple games and managing marketing campaigns for Appdore Games, Cartez transitioned into helping other businesses succeed online. What began as freelance marketing consulting grew into a full-service digital marketing operation serving local businesses across Texas and Louisiana.
In parallel, Cartez pursued his lifelong passion for music. Rather than choose between business and creativity, he built both into Appdore's identity. By day, he runs marketing campaigns; by night, he's in the studio producing tracks as Augustus Sun and Marley Lux.
